My name’s Alan, I’m 26 years old, I was born and raised in the sticks, a tiny village in Lincolnshire called Gedney Hill, although I also lived in Brighton for 4 years. My dad got me into tattooing; he had a little shit kicking coil he purchased 20 years prior, as he himself was interested in pursuing it. I started dabbling with tattooing in 2020 at uni when COVID hit, I tattooed a few fake skins and my housemates (sorry Tiger and Harry). I just celebrated my 2-year anniversary of starting my apprenticeship in 2023. My inspiration came from others, mainly my old mate Charlie, who always said I should tattoo. I always loved tattoos and art, I just didn’t think I could ever make something from it. I try my best to do every style, i’d say my main speciality is single needle microrealism, but I also dabble in traditional, big scale realism, mandala work and a bit of colour here and there.
